Kimberly and Leto Wedding

Kimberly and Leto had such a cute backyard wedding! I had fun getting to know these two at their engagement session, so it was a thrill to shoot their wedding day.

We went to Kimberly’s parent’s house and they had a nice setup for the ceremony in the front yard and reception in the backyard. Kimberly loves sunflowers, so those were a big part of the theme, as well as a rustic look.

The only hard part about the day was that the sun was behind and above Kimberly and Leto while they were getting married. It was shining directly into my lens! Well, that’s wedding photography, you have to shoot and get good shots despite any of the lighting challenges! I think they turned out well.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom and I headed out for some photos in the cotton fields. That was a first for me and they turned out cute! Except we couldn’t go too far since the dirt was so high and soft. Good thing Kimberly wasn’t in heels.

The reception was a fun party! Leto’s mom made most of the food and it was delicious. There was laughter, dancing and Kimberly even changed into a different dress to party!

I had such a great time with Kimberly and Leto! Thanks for having us as your wedding photographer! I hope to see you again!
