James and Mallorie

James is my husband’s good friend. I had the privilege to photograph him and his 2-year-old daughter while I was visiting Utah for a wedding. It was great to be able to take a Murray family photo session for him!

We almost didn’t do the shoot, since it was quite a rainy day. We decided to just go for it. It was a mini session, so all we really needed was 20 minutes.

We met up at Murray Park, which is a gorgeous park! Mallorie wasn’t quite sure what I was trying to do at first, but then I got her to smile. We got some perfect shots of them together!

Then it was getting cold and she was pretty clingy to daddy. Let’s just say she was done pretty fast!

James had a special request for some individual photos for himself. Requested by a girl, he acted and dressed the part of Clark Kent/Superman. That was super fun to shoot!

I enjoyed being James and Mallorie’s Utah family photographer. I hope to take more next time I see them!
