Blessy and Siby Engagement Party

This was such a fun event! It was my first time being a part of a traditional Indian engagement party, which was like a mini wedding.

Blessy is such a sweet and gorgeous bride-to-be! I met Blessy and her family at her parent’s house for the getting ready shots. After she was all ready, there was a special prayer with her whole family. I couldn’t understand what was said, but I could see and feel the love in the room.

This was a fabulous and fancy party! Blessy and Siby sat up front on the stage and multiple people from Blessy’s brother to pastors talked about marriage and the couple. There were special musical numbers from a band and a few different singers. After all of that was some amazing, spicy food! Just like a wedding, I took a ton of family and friend photos. At the end, I took the couple outside for some bride and groom-to-be shots.

These two are so cute and I can’t believe this was just an engagement party! Their wedding is going to be huge and super fabulous. Thanks Blessy and Siby for having me as your special event photographer!
